Stars of Seraphim is a 4-piece original rock band started by Vocalist/Guitarist/Song-Writer, Nicole Macias. The band started as a power-trio in August of 2010 consisting of Briana Macias on bass, and Ryan on drums accompanying Nicole Macias who was on vocals and guitar. Stars of Seraphim just got their 2nd guitarist, Jason Gray in November of 2010. Nicole Macias is now majoring in Commercial Music in College. When Nicole was in another unsigned band, she played a Carvin bass and played on a Carvin head and Cab. She got asked by Carvin to do a photo shoot for Guitar World magazine, and got hooked up with an endorsement for doing so. Other endorsements/sponsors came about when she started her own band she wrote, sang, and played guitar in called That Killed Crimson. That Killed Crimson was around for about 2 years and broke up, but during those 2 years, she went to the Namm shows, promoted, got the band in magazines, radio interviews, and newspapers, got an album out, participated in a compilation C.D., and released a single with a bonus track, and through all that hard work and playing shows at least once a week (sometimes even 4 times a week) places include: Key Club, Troubadour, Whiskey a go-go, Cabana Club, Slidebar, Rainbow in Hollywood, Torc Off-Road Championship Series, Gameworks, Slidebar, Cruefest, So Cal Rock Revolution, Kcal Rocks Battle of the Bands, Saddle Ranch, Hollywood Park and Casino, BB Kings, The Dragonfly, and more. Bands they played with include: A Static Lullaby, Death by Stereo, Story of the Year, Escape the Fate, Divide the Day, Head P.E., Cottonmouth Kings, and more. Nicole got the endorsements and sponsorships from Daisy Rock, Dirty Clothing, and Rock n Roll Industries, and is still waiting to raise enough money to buy a guitar by XOX Audiotools to be fully endorsed by them. When That Killed Crimson broke up, Nicole kept her endorsements and started this band, “Stars of Seraphim”. Stars of Seraphim will be attending the Namm show of 2011 courtesy of Daisy Rock. Stars of Seraphim was also asked by Daisy Rock to play the Namm show but received the e-mail too late and wrote back past the due date causing them to miss out on the opportunity, but despite that, they are still going to work hard and get the ball rolling as a band. Stars of Seraphim just finished recording their self-produced album “Squaring the Circle” and it will be on most online music retailers more or less around April of 2011 and hopefully in shelves of stores as well. Some places Stars of Seraphim have played include: House of Blues, Mirror Image Studios, Slidebar, Z-Fest Rock and Arts Festival, The Rainbow in Hollywood, and more and have played shows with some signed National Acts. Nicole, Briana, Ryan, and Jason are really serious about this band and are going to really push themselves and try to do whatever they can to make it. Their goals are to get a legit manager, open for big name national acts, and hopefully get signed and tour. They have large goals and hope they can fulfill them. They just need the right kind of help from the right kind of people. They hope they can find their big break soon.
